Arizona State football expects to sell out every home game in 2025 at Mountain America Stadium.

After five straight sellouts to begin the season, ASU announced that Saturday’s homecoming game against West Virginia will bring another sell-out crowd to Tempe. A quirky 11 a.m. MST kickoff has not hampered turnout.

The final home game of the year will be the Territorial Cup matchup with rival Arizona on Nov. 28.

“We’ll sell out for West Virginia, expect the same for U of A on Black Friday,” athletic director Graham Rossini told Arizona Sports’ Burns & Gambo on Thursday. “Selling out the entire football season, pretty incredible and kudos to our fan base and our football program for that outcome.

“It hasn’t happened in quite some time, maybe ever. Selling out all seven home games here at Mountain America Stadium, incredible. An incredible highlight to feature and just very proud of that.”

The 2025 campaign started with ASU selling out its home opener for the first time since 1998.

The season attendance through five games is 272,971, according to ESPN. In six home games last year, the attendance was 293,901, according to ASU. The home attendance in six games during the 2022 season was 258,488.

It is a testament to the excitement this program has built under head coach Kenny Dillingham, who led ASU to the Big 12 championship last season and has generated fan interest with a focus on activating the Valley.

Arizona State football’s early kickoff

Dillingham told Arizona Sports’ Bickley & Marotta that his team practices in the morning and players should be able to adjust their body clocks for the earlier start time. As for the fans?

“It will be different for the fans and the tailgating and just the operation,” Dillingham said. “People gotta get up a little bit earlier, drink some eggnog and get excited.”

The homecoming parade down University Drive will start at 9 a.m. MST. Parking lots will open at 6 a.m. MST, and the stadium gates will open to all fans at 9:30 a.m. MST.
