Arizona State entered Saturday’s matchup against Colorado with an opportunity to take control of its own destiny in the Pac-12 South, but the Sun Devils floundered in a 40-16 blowout loss at the hands of the Buffaloes.
After picking the Buffaloes to win in a dominant fashion last week, hosts Kerry Crowley and Chris Karpman are back to explain why they felt the Buffaloes were the superior team and what Colorado did to control the game at the line of scrimmage.
With an injury to quarterback Manny Wilkins hampering ASU’s offensive capabilities, Kerry and Chris explain why the Sun Devils were better off starting Wilkins than his freshmen backups. Additionally, Kerry and Chris talk about ASU’s tackling issues, which have become a reoccurring theme for the Sun Devils throughout the last two seasons.
After diving into another outstanding special teams performance by kicker Zane Gonzalez and punter Matt Haack, Kerry and Chris take their regular swing around the Pac-12 and look at the standings and the outlook moving forward.
The episode finishes up with Kerry and Chris’ reviews of their favorite spots they visited in Boulder, Colorado over the weekend.
