The Arizona Wildcats will be featured in three of the six Big Monday ESPN primetime men’s basketball games scheduled for the 2025-26 Big 12 season.
The tipoff of the series on Jan. 26 is an Arizona visit to BYU, which is led by potential No. 1 overall draft pick A.J. Dybantsa. Arizona coach Tommy Lloyd first got to know Dybantsa as head coach of the Under-19 USA team this summer.
The Wildcats visit Kansas on Feb. 9 for a Monday road showdown with a college basketball blue blood, then host Iowa State in the Big Monday finale on March 2. The latter is a rematch of a classic that went into overtime last season after since-departed guard Caleb Love drilled a buzzer-beater from halfcourt. Arizona ended up winning that home game against the No. 3 team in the country.
Arizona enters 2025-26 with high expectations. Starting point guard Jaden Bradley and center Tobe Awaka are back and joined by a highly touted recruiting class that includes power forward Koa Peat, shooting guard Brayden Burries, wing Dwayne Aristode and guard Bryce James.
The team is also expected to have a healthy Motiejus Krivas back at center after he was sidelined most of last season with a foot injury.
