Break out the CD players because Saturday’s Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl will take you back to 1994.
The postseason game, which features Colorado State (8-4) and Miami of Ohio (8-5), will be played at Arizona Stadium in Tucson but the field won’t resemble anything close to the traditional red, white and blue of the usual home team Wildcats.
One day before kick off of the rebranded bowl, the event sponsor revealed the field’s look:

Longtime rapper Snoop Dogg and record producer Dr. Dre will not only be heralding their 90s hit, “Gin & Juice,” but pulling out all the stops as the first alcoholic brand to sponsor a college football bowl game.
The field is mostly outlined by bright orange, with each 20-yard line marker emboldened in the color. While one end zone is solid black and features Snoop Dogg’s name written in white, the opposing end looks like a work of an expert street artist — a black car rolling down a road with a misty, cactus-infested backdrop.
The latter described end zone is an Arizona-inspired logo of Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s line of alcoholic beverages.
The bowl logo at midfield, shaped much like a shield, is splattered in a teal color at its top and is orange at its lower half. The silhouettes of two cactuses stand out prominently in the teal around “Snoop Dogg” and two tethered palm trees occupy the orange section in honor of the rapper’s ties to southern California.
The total design is rounded out with “Gin & Juice” (the alcohol brand logo) stamps placed diagonally across from one another at each 25-yard line on the green turf.
How to follow the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl
The Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl presented by Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop is slated for Saturday at 2:30 p.m on the CW, which possesses broadcast rights to the game for the second straight year.
Snoop Dogg will not simply be in attendance, but will be providing insight throughout as a color commentator.
The American icon first announced his on-air inclusion in a bit of a cryptic tweet that tagged Arizona head coach Brent Brennan on May. 5.

The 53-year-old also promised a few other surprises before, during and after the game. A halftime or postgame concert was rumored to be part of the fun, Snoop Dogg told Yahoo! Sports back in May.
Recent Arizona Bowl history
Tucson will host the Arizona Bowl for the 10th year and was previously under the Barstool Sports banner from 2021-23.
Wyoming defeated Toledo, 16-15, in last season’s playing that drew more than 30,000 fans.
The Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl is currently one of three bowl games played in Arizona, alongside the Rate Bowl at Chase Field in Phoenix and the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale.
Moving forward, the game committee is committed to showcasing teams from the Mountain West and Mid-American conferences amidst ongoing realignment. Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre will enjoy naming rights through 2026.
