Arizona Cardinals coach Bruce Arians says Andre Ellington ‘not really getting better’

Arizona Cardinals running back Andre Ellington had a season-high 160 yards of total offense in Sunday’s 24-13 win at the Oakland Raiders.

But Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said Ellington, who has been limited at practice with nagging injuries, should have been even better.

“It’s a shame he can’t practice because he’s really not getting better, and some things show up on the field on Sundays — little mistakes here and there, a couple (missed) reads. He could’ve had a dynamic game,” Arians told Bickley and Marotta on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM Monday.
