Arizona Cardinals free agent wide receiver Jaron Brown is headed to Seattle on a one-year deal, according to 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s Mike Jurecki.
The receiver has spent five seasons with the Cardinals, playing in 16 regular season games in all but one season.
In 2017, Brown saw his best year yet, catching 31 balls — 20 more than in 2015 and 2016 — for 477 yards and four touchdowns. The ball was also thrown his way a lot more as he had 69 targets in 2017 compared to 22 and 23 the previous two years.
His best game of the season came in an 18-15 overtime win against the San Francisco 49ers where he made eight receptions for 105 yards on 12 targets.
Brown joined the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2013 after playing college ball at Clemson for four seasons.
Brown is the latest name to leave Arizona as fellow wide receiver John Brown agreed to a deal with the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday. Additionally, the Cardinals released safety Tyrann Mathieu and signed quarterbacks Sam Bradford and Mike Glennon and lineman Andre Smith.
