Kerwynn Williams has been on the yo-yo that comes with being on the fringe of an NFL roster.

Sometimes he’s up, and sometimes he’s down.

He’s up again.

The Cardinals announced on Tuesday they had re-signed the running back, who was released prior to last week’s game against the 49ers. Williams had re-joined the Cardinals on Oct. 4 after being released as part of the team’s final roster cuts on Sept. 3.

Over the past two seasons Williams has played in 11 games for the Cardinals, totaling 388 rushing yards and one touchdown along with four catches for 27 yards.

The 25-year-old was a seventh-round pick in the 2013 draft by the Indianapolis Colts, and has also spent time with the San Diego Chargers.
