The Arizona Cardinals did not continue their upward trend in this year’s NFLPA report card released Wednesday.
After improving from 31st to 27th a year prior, Arizona ranked last in the league at 32nd.
A total of 1,695 players (77% of the league) contributed to the report cards in the 2025 iteration. This marks the third year the report cards have been used as a way to give and receive better player insight across the 32 franchises.
The Cardinals said after the report cards were revealed they have been planning on rebuilding a new training facility at their current location by 2027.
“Our goal is to provide the best possible environment, facilities and resources and to give our team the greatest opportunity to succeed,” the team said in a statement. “We are working hard to achieve that. Last season, we shared with our players the plans for a new training facility at the existing Tempe location with a targeted completion date of 2027.
“We have hired Rossetti, a leading architecture firm that has worked with a number of NFL teams on their new facilities, and the design process is underway. We will continue to explore all the other ways – large and small – that we can get better in every single area of our operation.”
Sources told Arizona Sports that the cost of the new facility will be around the $100 million range.
The franchise landed in the bottom three of the NFL in eight categories.
Their worst rankings came in the weight room (F) and locker room (F-). The biggest knocks on those two areas centered around not having adequate space.
Their lone top 10 mark came at head coach, which was highlighted by Jonathan Gannon’s receptiveness to locker room feedback on team needs. Gannon saw a slight bump from an A- to an A and ranked eighth among NFL head coaches after coming in at 15th last year.
Other areas of the team that saw improvement include nutritionist/dietician (C to B), ownership (F to D-) and team travel (C+ to B).
This marks the third year the report cards have been used.

I dont know what a F- means but it sounds bad
Thank goodness JG is who he is - lol
Cards you really need to pay attention on this.. These report Cards have occurred 3 Times now, and our rankings have been -
2022 - 31st
2023 - 27th
2024 - 32th
Now things like locker room, and training space are what they are..These are facility related.. But Personnel Related, is where we ABSOLUTELY need an “about face!” Look at JG he got an A! And make no mistake, this is earned, when you’ve won 4 and 8 game’s respectively in the 1st 2 years!
The following are areas, that anything less than a B totally unacceptable
Food (D)
Strength Coaches (C+)
Training Staff (C)
Ownership (D-)
These areas are absolutely integral for fielding a winner.. Anyone ever worked for someone they really disliked? Makes things pretty darn difficult! Especially when that person is disliked by so many, which is obviously happening when a D minus occurs! Doesn’t matter how much money is being earned.. We are still people at the end of the day..
Moreover the Strength, Food and Training grades are absolutely embarrassing! And if this is Michael B being cheap, then he must start spending as of yesterday.. Cause it could be argued that we are only trending up, cause we have a respected Head Coach, who’s clearly got the trust of the team!
100 million on a building won’t change how the Bidwill kids treat people. Entitled brats!
