While Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison is “paying no mind” to recent trade rumors surrounding him, a new report emerged Thursday regarding a team that could be interested in acquiring the 2024 No. 4 overall pick.

ESPN’s Josh Weinfuss and Stephen Holder reported that while the Cardinals are not shopping Harrison, the Indianapolis Colts were among the teams doing their due diligence on the third-year receiver and would entertain the idea of trading for him. The NFL trade deadline this season is on Nov. 10.

Weinfuss and Holder added that Harrison hired Todd France and Tory Dandy as his agents on Sept. 23. Harrison previously did not have an agent.

Wide receiver is a need for the Colts, as wideout Alec Pierce is currently on the injured list due to a heel injury. The Colts recently signed former New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton to help the receiver room.

Harrison’s start to the 2026 season has been off to a slow start given where he was taken in the draft in 2024. Through four games, Harrison has caught five passes on 12 targets for 85 yards and a touchdown. He is fourth on the team in receptions and fifth in targets.

National talks regarding the Cardinals moving Harrison have emerged in recent weeks, with ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano all reporting on the potential of him being traded.

Harrison downplayed the trade talk Thursday, putting more focus on his preparation for the Cardinals’ Week 5 game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

“Truthfully, I pay it no mind,” Harrison said. “I’m only focused on Detroit and helping the Cardinals win football games at the moment.

“Any rumors you’re talking about, I’m not really worried about them.”

Harrison Jr. is the son of Hall of Fame wide receiver Marvin Harrison Sr., who spent his entire 13-year career with the Colts, where he holds several receiving records and won a Super Bowl with the team in 2006.
