Schefter: Cardinals trading Marvin Harrison Jr. by the deadline ‘would not be a surprise’
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has not had the bounce-back Year 3 many expected him to have in 2026.

Trade chatter continues to surround Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter included Harrison as one of five players to watch leading up to the NFL trade deadline (Nov. 10).
“The Cardinals are not all that enthralled with trading him, but other teams are doing their due diligence into Harrison,” Schefter said Sunday morning. “It would not be a surprise if he were traded by Nov. 10.”

Harrison’s teammate, Josh Sweat, was also named by Schefter as the pass rusher seeks out a new contract.
Schefter’s reporting falls in line with other national reports of teams monitoring Harrison and the Cardinals if he is made available.
It has been far from a bounce-back Year 3 for the wide receiver. Through three games, he’s caught four of nine targets for 73 yards and zero touchdowns. Most of those numbers (three catches for 40 yards) came in last week’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Harrison has seen no more than five targets in a single game and only had four through the first two weeks of the season as the Cardinals’ passing game has largely revolved around tight end Trey McBride and wide receiver Michael Wilson.
With Harrison currently an afterthought in the offense, that’s left many to wonder if he is on the trading block.

I want to see MHJ with a QB who can go through progressions and push the ball up the field and not one who focuses on 1 guy the whole time.
Maybe the Cardinals can trade lips to Seattle for Jaxon Smith-Njigba?
