Tracking Cardinals’ top 30 visits ahead of 2025 NFL Draft

The Arizona Cardinals stayed busy this offseason with numerous top 30 visits with NFL Draft prospects.

Teams can hold up to 30 of these private visits with prospects at their training facility through Wednesday (April 16).

Here’s a running list of the players linked to Arizona’s top 30 visits this offseason:

Who have the Arizona Cardinals brought in for a top 30 visit in 2025?

Kelvin Banks Jr., Texas OT

Banks is scheduled to visit the Cardinals on the final day top 30 visits are permitted by the league, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

The 6-foot-5, 315-pounder out of Texas is considered one of the top offensive tackle prospects after racking up three full seasons at left tackle.

In ESPN analyst Field Yates’ two-round mock draft, the Cardinals nab Banks with the No. 16 overall pick.

Jaylin Smith, USC CB

Smith had the Cardinals on his list of visits this week, according to KRPC 2’s Aaron Wilson.

The 5-foot-10, 187-pound cornerback recorded 59 tackles, two interceptions and two passes defensed across 10 games played in his fourth and final season at USC.

In NFL.com analyst Chad Reuter’s five-round mock draft, Smith heads to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the third round (No. 87 overall).

Darius Alexander, Toledo DT

The Cardinals were among the 11 to 12 visits Alexander had taken so this draft cycle, he told Justin Melo on Sunday.

The 6-foot-4, 305-pounder registered 3.5 sacks, eight tackles for loss, an interception (which he returned for a touchdown), and four passes defensed in his fifth and final season at Toledo (12 games played).

In the latest three-round mock from ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. and Yates, Alexander lands with the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the draft (No. 48 overall). That’s one spot lower than Arizona’s current second-round pick (No. 47).

Josh Simmons, Ohio State OT

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Simmons is scheduled to meet with the Cardinals on Tuesday.

In his second and final year at Ohio State, the 6-foot-5, 317-pound offensive tackle appeared in six games before a torn patellar tendon in his left knee sidelined him the final 10 games of the year.

Before his time at Ohio State, Simmons played at right tackle for San Diego State in 2022.

Simmons already has plenty of connections on the team, including former Ohio State offensive line coach Justin Frye and wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.

He also knows a thing or two about Paris Johnson Jr., having taken over for him at left tackle at Ohio State after the Cardinals nabbed the lineman in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

In Kiper’s two-round mock draft, Simmons heads to the Kansas City Chiefs at No. 31 overall.

Kenneth Grant, Michigan DT

Grant is another name meeting with the Cardinals for a top 30 visit, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo told PHNX.

The 6-foot-4, 331-pound defensive tackle registered three sacks, seven tackles for loss and five passes defensed.

In Kiper’s two-round mock draft released this week, Grant heads to the San Francisco 49ers at No. 43 overall.

KeAndre Lambert-Smith, Auburn WR

Lambert-Smith surfaced as a name visiting the Cardinals over the week beginning on April 13, per Justin Melo of The Draft Network.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound receiver clocked a 4.37-second 40-yard dash at the combine after nearly tallying 1,000 receiving yards on 50 catches.

He’s a projected undrafted free agent, per NFL Mock Draft Database, but has been mocked as high as No. 133 overall by Sporting News’ Jarrett Bailey.

Ty Robinson, Nebraska DT

Robinson has already met with the Cardinals, according to Sportskeeda’s Tony Pauline.

The 6-foot-5, 288-pounder is coming off his sixth and final year at Nebraska where he registered seven sacks and 13 tackles for loss across 13 games played.

In NFL.com analyst Chad Reuter’s recent five-round mock draft, Robinson heads to the Los Angeles Chargers at No. 125 overall.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Arizona RB

Croskey-Merritt was scheduled to meet with the Cardinals and three other teams, according to Arizona Daily Star’s Justin Spears.

The 5-foot-11, 208-pound running back also had visits lined up with the Minnesota Vikings, Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots, among others.

Eligibility issues cut his lone season at Arizona short, appearing in just one game. He ran for 106 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries.

Before his time in Tucson, Croskey-Merritt rushed for 1,190 yards and 17 touchdowns on 189 attempts with New Mexico in 2023. He also reeled in seven catches for 72 yards and a score.

Shemar Turner, Texas A&M DL

The Cardinals were among the first teams Turner met with for a top 30 visit, according to Rapoport.

The 6-foot-3, 290-pound defensive lineman registered two sacks, six tackles for loss, a pass defensed and a forced fumble across 12 games for the Aggies in 2024.

Kiper and Yates have Turner landing with the Las Vegas Raiders in the third round (No. 83 overall) of their collaborative mock draft.

Jihaad Campbell, Alabama LB

Campbell met with the Cardinals this week, quarterback Kyler Murray told PHNX.

The 6-foot-3, 235-pound inside linebacker is coming off his final season at Alabama where he registered 117 tackles, five sacks, an interception and two forced fumbles in 13 games played.

In Kiper’s two-round mock draft, Campbell heads to the Cincinnati Bengals at No. 17 overall.

T.J. Sanders, South Carolina DT

Sanders is expected to meet with the Cardinals on Tuesday, according to Schefter.

The 6-foot-4, 297-pounder recorded four sacks and seven tackles for loss across 13 games played.

In ESPN analyst Matt Miller’s recent mock draft, Sanders heads to the Houston Texans in the third round (No. 89).

Walter Nolen, Ole Miss DT

The Cardinals mark one of a handful of teams that have or are planning to meet with Nolen, according to Rapoport.

The 6-foot-4, 296-pounder is coming off his lone season at Ole Miss where he registered 6.5 sacks and 14 tackles for loss in 13 games played.

Before his time at Ole Miss, Nolen played two seasons at Texas A&M, registering 5.0 sacks and 12 tackles for loss in 22 games.

In NFL.com analyst Eric Edholm’s most recent mock draft, Nolen heads to the Atlanta Falcons at No. 33 overall.

Trey Amos, Ole Miss cornerback

Amos is on the short list of defensive backs reportedly visiting the Cardinals this draft cycle.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pounder is coming off his lone season at Ole Miss after stops at Louisiana-Lafayette (2020-22) and Alabama (2023).

In 13 games played last year, he recorded career highs in interceptions (three), passes defensed (13) and tackles (50).

He followed that up with a solid 4.43-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Draft Combine.

In NFL.com analyst Lance Zierlein’s latest mock draft, Amos lands with the Washington Commanders at No. 29 overall.

Jalon Walker, Georgia linebacker

Walker has already made his visit with the Cardinals, according to Garafolo on PHNX.

The 6-foot-1, 243-pounder registered 6.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss and two passes defensed across 14 games played in his final season at Georgia.

Having played both inside linebacker and pass rusher, Walker brings with him a ton of versatility.

In Kiper’s most recent mock draft, Walker went No. 8 overall to the Carolina Panthers. Kiper also views Walker as an off-ball linebacker as opposed to an edge rusher.

James Pearce Jr., Tennessee pass rusher

According to Rapoport, Pearce met with the Cardinals on Monday.

The 6-foot-5, 245-pounder is coming of his third and final year at Tennessee where he racked up 7.5 sacks, 13 tackles for loss and a forced fumble in 13 games played.

He only added to his draft stock at the NFL Draft Combine with a 4.47-second 40-yard dash. That was the fastest time among participating edge rushers.

Reuter has Pearce landing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second round (No. 53) of his five-round mock draft posted last week.

Mykel Williams, Georgia pass rusher

According to Garafolo, Williams is another name linked to Arizona’s top 30 visits.

The 6-foot-5, 260-pounder recorded career highs in sacks (5.0) tackles for loss (nine) and forced fumbles (two) in his final year at Georgia.

NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah has Williams heading to the Detroit Lions in the first round (No. 28 overall) in his latest mock draft.

Princely Umanmielen, Ole Miss pass rusher

Umanmielen not only met with the Cardinals during the NFL Draft Combine, he also visited Arizona on a top 30 visit, the pass rusher told The Draft Network’s Justin Melo.

The 6-foot-4, 244-pounder also met with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, among other teams at the combine.

After compiling seven sacks and 12 tackles for loss in his fourth and final season at Florida, the pass rusher took things a step further behind 10.5 sacks and 15 TFLs in his one year at Ole Miss. He was second among SEC defenders in sacks and seventh in tackles for loss.

In his latest four-round mock draft, Reuter has Umanmielen heading to the Denver Broncos in the third round (No. 85 overall).

Femi Oladejo, UCLA edge rusher

Oladejo told The Draft Network’s Justin Melo that the Cardinals were one of at least 10 teams he’s meeting with this offseason.

The 6-foot-3, 259-pounder is coming off his best college season after making the switch from inside linebacker to pass rusher in his second year at UCLA.

Across 12 games played, Oladejo registered 4.5 sacks and 14 tackles for loss.

In Edholm’s four-round mock draft, Oladejo heads to the Kansas City Chiefs in the second round (No. 63 overall).

Nic Scourton, Texas A&M pass rusher

Scourton has reportedly met with the Cardinals, according to KPRC 2’s Aaron Wilson.

Wilson adds Scourton was also set to meet with the Texans.

The 6-foot-3, 257-pounder posted 5.0 sacks and 14 tackles for loss in his lone season with the Aggies.

He is two years removed from a 10-sack effort as a member of the Purdue Boilermakers.

Will Johnson, Michigan cornerback

Johnson has also met with the Cardinals, according to Detroit Free Press’ Dave Birkett.

In addition to Arizona, the cornerback has met with the Atlanta Falcons and Las Vegas Raiders, Birkett added.

The 6-foot-2, 194-pounder recorded two interceptions — both returned for touchdowns — and three passes defensed in six games played for Michigan before going down with a turf toe injury.

The toe injury plus a hamstring issue he picked up after the NFL Draft Combine has limited his draft prep.

Still, NFL.com’s Daniel Jeremiah has the cornerback going No. 15 overall to the Atlanta Falcons in his latest mock draft.

Cam Skattebo, Arizona State running back

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Skattebo has two more top 30 visits scheduled after meeting with the Cardinals, Cleveland Browns and New York Giants.

Skattebo is coming off an impressive final season at Arizona State, amassing 1,711 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns on 293 carries. He also made 45 catches for 605 yards and three touchdowns on top of throwing a 42-yard touchdown in the Sun Devils’ Peach Bowl loss to the Texas Longhorns.

He only improved his stock with a 39.5-inch vertical and 10-foot-3 broad jump at the NFL Draft Combine.

During Arizona State’s pro day, he ran a reported 4.65-second 40-yard dash.

ESPN’s Matt Miller has the 5-foot-9, 219-pound running back landing with the Pittsburgh Steelers as a fourth-round pick (No. 123 overall) in his latest NFL mock draft.

Shemar Stewart, Texas A&M pass rusher

Shemar was one of the first names linked to a top 30 visit with the Cardinals, with NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reporting the two sides met on March 5.

The pass rusher didn’t wow in the sacks department with 4.5 across three seasons at Texas A&M but turned heads with an impressive NFL Draft Combine showing that was reminiscent of future Hall of Famer Myles Garrett.

NFL.com’s Charles Davis has Stewart heading to the Baltimore Ravens at No. 27 overall in his latest mock draft.

ESPN’s Field Yates has Stewart as his 14th ranked prospect this draft class.

Anthony Belton, N.C. State OT

Belton met with the Cardinals following his pro day, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Devin Jackson.

The 6-foot-6, 336-pound offensive lineman made 32 starts at left tackle across four seasons at N.C. State.

He was ninth among participating offensive linemen in the combine’s three-cone drill with a time of 7.77 seconds.

Reuter has Belton landing with the Carolina Panthers in the third round (No. 74 overall) of his most recent mock draft.
