Cardinals’ Trey McBride makes PFF’s All-Pro team

Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride made PFF’s All-Pro team, which was announced on Wednesday morning.
The honor caps off a historic season for McBride. The Cardinals tight end recorded his second straight 1,000-yard season and led all tight ends in targets, receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns.
McBride broke the NFL single-season record for receptions by a tight end. The Cardinals star caught his 117th pass of the year against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17 to pass former Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz. McBride finished the game against the Bengals with 10 receptions and added seven more in the final game of the season.
He also had at least eight receptions in eight games this season and has at least four catches in 19 straight games dating back to 2024.
In just four seasons, McBride has blossomed into one of the best tight ends in the NFL. He had a slow rookie year, but the young star has been among the top seven in the league in targets, receptions and receiving yards each of the last three years.
McBride finished second in all three categories in 2024 and left no doubt about the top spot in 2025. The Cardinals tight end had 38 more receptions than the next-best tight end and 311 more yards than Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts, who finished second.
McBride had one drop all season, which means he dropped 0.8% of the catchable passes thrown his way, and that’s the sixth-best rate among tight ends with at least 30 targets.
Although his production was there in 2024, McBride’s end zone presence elevated this season. The two-time Pro Bowl tight end had six touchdowns combined over his first three years, and he nearly doubled that with 11 scores in 2025. Seven of McBride’s 11 touchdowns came in the final 10 games of the season.
This is the second PFF award McBride has received. He was named a first-team All-American in his final year with the Colorado State Rams before the Cardinals drafted him.
The Cardinals have a lot of uncertainty heading into the offseason, needing a new head coach and a solution at quarterback. However, Arizona has a cornerstone at the tight end position coming off back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons.

McDaniel Is a talented NFL coach who realizes that Arizona represents a withering death. I look for him to end up in Detroit, maybe even back in Denver as the OC.
Mike McDaniel would be an almost perfect hire for us. Young, offensive guru, players love him, already two winning seasons and two playoff runs as an NFL HC, chip on his shoulder...so of course we will hire some inexperienced DC instead.
McBride is the definition of an elite generational talent at TE. He’s young to and will be one of the best for the foreseeable future, dude is going to be the next Fitz of this franchise.
McBride being a #1 receiver himself with two more high end WR1 talents on this roster in MHJ/Wilson is why they should bring in an Extremely creative premier offensive minded coach as their next HC to pair with Kyler Murray keeping JB as QB2. Draft a premier bluechip OT like a 6”6-325 Francis Mauigoa to pair with PJJ giving them a top 5-10 OL again, sign a premier RB in FA, Benson back healthy, try to bring back Connor on the cheap giving us a top 5-10 run game again and this offense would take off next season. Bidwill has held Murray back thus far pairing him with horrible OCs like Drew who’s scheme didn’t fit him, bring in a high flying creative offensive mind like McDaniel and watch what he does with a QB like Murray as he made it work with Tua and Km is a much much better much more dynamic QB than Tua’s ever been on his best day
