The list of scuffles involving the Phoenix Suns keeps getting longer.
Phoenix Suns power forward Jared Dudley bumped Washington Wizards big man Jason Smith after Smith set a hard screen at center court on Suns rookie point guard Tyler Ulis.
The Wizards clearly wanted to send a message that if Ulis was going to continue his usual pestering on defense, it was going to come at a price.
Smith had words for Ulis as he walked back to his team and Dudley came storming in.
Dudley made head contact with Smith on the bump and after a lengthy review was ejected.
Wizards guard Brandon Jennings confronted Dudley on his actions, pointing at him and later on getting in his face. He was also ejected.
The game getting chippy is becoming a pattern for the Suns. In the past month, Ulis and Marquese Chriss were ejected in Memphis, Chriss and Giannis Antetokounmpo had words for each other in Milwaukee, Vince Carter was ejected after elbowing Devin Booker and Derrick Jones Jr. and Russell Westbrook got into it on Friday.
