Arizona Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo joined 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s Doug & Wolf to discuss his philosophies as a manager, how he feels about the team’s current play and more.
Lovullo’s ball club recently clinched a playoff spot through the NL Wild Card and will also be playing at home for that game next week. It is the team’s first postseason baseball since 2011.
The first-year manager talked to the hosts about how he goes about communicating with everyone on his team, ranging from team news to strategic sitdowns with each individual player.
