Prescott RB named High School Player of the Week

Prescott High School senior running back Brady Mengarelli has been named the Arizona Cardinals and Wells Fargo High School Player of the Week.
Mengarelli impressed in Prescott’s 56-28 win over Glendale Deer Valley High School last Friday. He had 18 carries for a school record 304 rushing yards with four touchdowns. He also threw for a TD in the game.
This is the 10th year of the Arizona Cardinals player of the week award. The selection panel consists of a local sports panel including members of the Cardinals organization as well as media personalities.
Cardinals alumni will present Mengarelli with a plaque for his achievements on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at Prescott High School on the football field.
Prescott will host Boulder Creek High School Friday night at 7 p.m.
