Stu Jackson, the NBA’s Executive Vice President of
Basketball Operations, announced on Wednesday that Phoenix
Suns’ center Robin Lopez has been suspended for one game
without pay for improper conduct towards a game official.

Lopez made contact with official Rodney Mott during the
second quarter of the Suns’ loss to Toronto Tuesday night at
U.S. Airways Center.

Lopez, will lose approximately $35,000 due to the
suspension, which will be served Friday night when the Suns
visit the Portland Trail Blazers.
