Shannon Brown: We’re going to open a lot of eyes

Jul 26, 2012, 12:36 AM | Updated: 1:59 am

It turns out that while the Phoenix Suns fell short of
making the playoffs with their late-season run in 2011, it
wasn’t a complete loss.

The late-season push was key for
bringing back shooting guard Shannon Brown, who officially
re-signed with the team Wednesday.

“I saw some good things at the end of last season that I
think we can capitalize on as a team, and for myself as an
individual,” Brown told Arizona Sports 620’s Doug and Wolf
Wednesday.

Brown averaged a career-high 11 points with the Suns last
season, and in 19 games as a starter averaged 15.8 points
and 3.7 rebounds, shooting .406 from three-point range.
