The Miami Heat practiced in Phoenix Monday in preparation for a matchup with the Suns Tuesday, and after they were done it was time for the LeBron James show.

Tickets were not required.

The 10-time All-Star, nine-time All-NBA team member, four-time league MVP, two-time NBA champion and three-time Olympic gold medalist threw down one impressive dunk after another, much to the delight of all who were in attendance.

Of course, it took some prodding from Heat coach Erik Spoelstra to get the attention on King James’ dunkathon.

“Well you guys are missing a show, are you sure you want to interview me while this is going on,” he asked.

Point taken.

“We had a great practice,” James said when asked what prompted him to do it. “It just felt good.”
