On Wednesday, the Suns announced that they will be hosting Superhero Night at Talking Stick Resort Arena during their game against the Grizzlies this Saturday.

The first 5,000 fans in attendance at the game will receive a Devin Booker superhero bobblehead, and there will be numerous pregame activities for fans to partake in.

As part of the festivities, the team will hold a pregame costume contest, where fans are encouraged to dress up and will have the opportunity to win a Devin Booker autographed jersey, among other things. The event will also feature a fair hosted by Phoenix Fan Fusion and an appearance from comic artist Steve Rude, who contributed to comics such as “Superman”, “Batman”, “Spider-Man” and more.

Superhero Night is not just in honor of fictional characters, though, as the Suns will also be honoring the heroes of the community as well.

Local first responders will be featured as part of in-game activities throughout the game, and the Suns Team Shop will be donating a portion of the money made throughout the night to the 100 Club of Arizona, which provides financial assistance to families of firefighters and public safety officers that are injured or killed in the line of duty.

Finally, fans will get the opportunity to secure some good deals, as the Suns will be selling tickets for the month of April for 50 percent off as part of Fan Appreciation Week. This offer will only be available that day, and it will last from 5 p.m. until 30 minutes after the game.

Booker visited Phoenix Children’s Hospital on Thursday, meeting some fans and giving an early look at the bobblehead.
