The Phoenix Suns have assigned rookies T.J. Warren and Tyler Ennis to the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Development League.
Warren, the 14th pick in the 2014 NBA Draft out of North Carolina State, has appeared in just one game for the Suns so far and has yet to record a statistic.
Ennis, selected 18th out of Syracuse, played in two games, scoring two points while handing out three assists and turning the ball over four times.
“T.J. had been injured and so he missed a lot of practice days with his finger, and so he hasn’t had a lot of action,” Suns coach Jeff Hornacek said. “Tyler’s had practice but not a lot of game stuff.
“I think it’s good for them to go down there and play; we’ll take them on the (upcoming road) trip and hopefully keep their rhythm and confidence going.”
#Suns Warren, Ennis scheduled to play two games (Friday, Saturday) w/Bakersfield and then rejoin team for east coast trip
