The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the involvement of Suns forwards Markieff and Marcus Morris in an assault that occurred at a park in January.

There have been no arrests made or charges filed at this point, but the twins’ employer did issue a statement on the matter Wednesday morning.

“The Phoenix Suns are aware of an investigation by the Phoenix Police Department of an alleged assault. We have no information beyond what has been alleged in the police report and therefore have no further comment on the matter at this time. Our organization will closely monitor developments as the legal process unfolds,” team president of basketball operations Lon Babby said.

The Suns are currently on a four-game road trip that started Tuesday night in Atlanta. They’ll be in Dallas to face the Mavericks Wednesday evening.
