Holiday Heroes with Burns and Gambo at Arizona State’s Karsten Golf Course, supporting The 100 Club of Arizona, raised more than $180,000.

Thank you Arizona.

The proceeds will help provide financial assistance to families of public safety officers and firefighters who are seriously injured or killed in the line-of-duty, and to provide resources to enhance their safety and welfare.

You can donate here.

Holiday Heroes kicks off a great day as Arizona Sports 620’s Burns and Gambo support The 100 Club of Arizona.

Jerseys, trips to amazing events, raffle tickets and memorabilia all available and all benefiting The 100 Club of Arizona.

The first guest has a story you are very familiar with, the tragic Yarnell Fire Tragedy from this past summer.

Juliann Ashcraft’s husband Andrew Ashcraft was a member of the Granite Mountain Hot Shots crew. They have four small kids — the oldest being seven years old.

Her husband was not full time so she will not be receiving survivor benefits or retirement benefits from the government.

11:00 a.m.: A HUGE thank you to Native New Yorker as their CEO, Dan Chaon, stopped by to donate a check for $10,000!

The first Majerle’s Sports Grille Scoreboard update reads $14,250 after 90 minutes.

11:30 a.m.: Another story from the past year as a police officer on duty doing his job lost his life.

Daryl Raetz was killed in a hit-and-run accident as he was conducting a traffic stop with a suspected drunk driver. He was hit by an SUV at 3:30 a.m. on a Sunday morning in May.

Raetz’s wife Stephanie told her story of how much The 100 Club of Arizona has helped her throughout the year.
