The Arizona Coyotes announced Monday they have recalled forward Michael Chaput from the Tucson Roadrunners.
Spending 22 games this season with the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate in Tucson, Chaput has 10 goals and five assists for a total of 15 points.
The 6-foot-2 forward was originally a third-round pick in the 2010 NHL Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers. Chaput spent his first three NHL seasons in Columbus before making stops in Vancouver and Montreal, accumulating a total of 167 career appearances.
In February, Chaput was acquired by the Coyotes from the Canadiens in exchange for forward Jordan Weal.
Chaput has not yet made an appearance for the Coyotes. He was recalled once before in November but did not play.
The Coyotes have lost three straight and are back in action on Tuesday at home against St. Louis.
