The Arizona Cardinals will be featured as part of an NFL triple-header the day after Christmas, on Saturday, Dec. 26.

They will host the San Francisco 49ers at State Farm Stadium for a 2:30 p.m. game that will air on Amazon Prime Video and Twitch. It will still air locally in Phoenix on FOX 10.

The 49ers-Cardinals game will broadcast after an 11 a.m. game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions. It will precede a 6:15 p.m. kickoff for the Miami Dolphins against the Las Vegas Raiders. Both of those games will air on NFL Network.

Arizona originally listed the Week 16 matchup against its NFC West foe as a flex game that would land on either the Saturday or Sunday after Christmas.

It remains to be seen if fans will be allowed to purchase tickets and attend the Dec. 26 game due to coronavirus numbers that are rising in the state.

The team announced last week that Sunday’s game at State Farm Stadium against the Los Angeles Rams will not be open to fans. That decision was based on guidance from the Arizona Department of Health Services.

The Cardinals had allowed 4,200 fans in the stadium during their last two home games, which were against the Miami Dolphins on Nov. 8 and the Buffalo Bills on Nov. 15.

Arizona’s weekly percent positivity for COVID-19 diagnostic testing, an indicator of how much the virus is spreading in the community, has reached its highest level in four months.

The positivity rate was 13% through 87,999 tests reported this past week, according to numbers released up to Sunday.
