Rookie defensive tackle Rashard Lawrence and veteran offensive guard Max Garcia are among the inactives for the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams.

Lawrence was activated from the designated for return from injured reserve list this week, but a calf injury will keep him sidelined for another week. Arizona will have fellow rookie defensive lineman Leki Fotu available, as well as defensive end Angelo Blackson, who was questionable to play against Los Angeles because of an illness.

Garcia, meanwhile, is a surprise inactive as the primary backup left tackle thus far this year. He was not listed on this week’s injury report.

Backup quarterback Brett Hundley, rookie running back Eno Benjamin, offensive tackle Josh Miles and safety Jalen Thompson join Garcia and Lawrence as inactives for the Week 13 game.

Arizona ruled Thompson (ankle) out on Friday and listed Lawrence (calf), Blackson (illness) and backup safety Charles Washington (groin) as questionable. Washington will be available to play.

The Cardinals activated Fotu from the designated for return list on Saturday. They also elevated tight end Seth DeValve from the practice squad and called up running back and special teamer D.J. Foster from the practice squad as a COVID-19 replacement, as receiver Larry Fitzgerald did not pass coronavirus protocols for the game.

Fitzgerald reportedly tested positive for the virus on Thanksgiving.

The Rams’ inactives list includes running back Raymond Calais, receiver Trishton Jackson, tight end Brycen Hopkins, center Brian Allen and linebacker Terrell Lewis.
