Suns’ Devin Booker drops 43 points in win over Timberwolves

Booker dropped 41 points in the first three quarters against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday night at the Target Center. The Suns would go on to win the game 118-99.
The now two-time All-Star had 20 points at halftime before deciding to drop 21 in the third quarter alone. He would eventually finish with 43 points on the night.

To put that into perspective, the second-highest scorer for the Suns heading into the fourth quarter was Deandre Ayton with 12. He would finish the game with 22 points.
Booker finished shooting 15 of 26 from the field (57.7%), including 1-for-6 from three and 12 of 13 from the charity stripe (92.3%). He also had five assists, five rebounds and one block.
The win improves the Suns record to 22-11 as the No. 4 team in the Western Conference standings.
Phoenix returns to action on Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Lakers at the Staples Center.
