After exiting Wednesday’s game in Philadelphia with a right ankle sprain, Phoenix Suns forward Jae Crowder is out for a matchup on Thursday with the Boston Celtics.

He stayed in the game for a few possessions before checking out with two minutes left in the first half. Crowder was then ruled out for the rest of the game.
Crowder, 30, is averaging 9.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. He has started 39 of the 55 games he’s played in, as head coach Monty Williams spent time with Cam Johnson and Frank Kaminsky in the starting lineup before Crowder got his starting spot back.
The veteran forward signed a three-year contract with the Suns this offseason and has been a key piece of one of the league’s best defenses.
Elsewhere on the injury report, Abdel Nader remains out due to right knee soreness, with Thursday marking the 18th straight game he’s missed.
Dario Saric is questionable because of a left ankle sprain. He was probable for Wednesday’s game with left ankle soreness and played 18 minutes.
