The Phoenix Suns are expected to meet with free agent LaMarcus Aldridge Wednesday and ESPN’s Marc Stein says it could possibly lead to a sign-and-trade for Eric Bledsoe.

After reportedly agreeing to sign Brandon Knight to a long-term deal and picking up free agent Tyson Chandler, it doesn’t appear the Suns would have any cap space to sign a player like Aldridge.

The Suns are reportedly bringing Chandler into their meeting with Aldridge, adding star-power to their pitch.
Bledsoe averaged 17 points and 6.1 assists per game for the Suns last season. He just finished year one of a five-year, $70 million dollar deal signed in September.
Aldridge averaged 23.4 points and 10 rebounds last season for the Portland Trail Blazers. He’s one of the most highly sought-after free agents this off-season.
