Game 4 is most-watched contest of Suns-Bucks NBA Finals thus far

Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks was the most-watched contest of the series thus far, according to Nielsen TV ratings.
Viewership averaged 10.3 million and peaked at 12.6 million from 8:15 to 8:30 p.m. Arizona time.
Game 4 — which the Bucks won 109-103 to tie the series at 2-2 — was up 14% from Game 3.
Compare those metrics to Games 2 and 3 that saw an average of 9.4 million and 9 million viewers, respectively.
In Phoenix, Game 4 drew a rating of 25.4 — the highest-rated NBA game in the Valley since 2000.
Meanwhile, Milwaukee’s 29.6 rating boasted its highest-rated NBA game in the market since 2001.
The 2021 NBA Finals are averaging 9.3 million viewers overall, which is up 34% from last year between the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat in the bubble.
Game 5 of this year’s Finals is scheduled to take place on Saturday night at Phoenix Suns Arena.
