The Arizona Cardinals have placed Deion Calhoun and Rico Gafford on COVID-19 reserve list, according to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun.

Three Cardinals players have now been placed on the COVID-19 list in the past two days.

Last summer during the start, the Cardinals made it until Sept. 11 last year without placing a player on the COVID-19 reserve list.

Calhoun is a third-year, 6-foot, 310-pound offensive lineman from Mississippi State who has started eight games in his career for the Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals.

Gafford has appeared in eight games over the last three years for the Raiders and totaled two receptions for 33 yards over that time.

According to Wilson, 24 NFL players were placed on COVID-19 reserve list Wednesday with 22 positive tests, and two others characterized as high risk close contact.

Kliff Kingsbury said Tuesday we’ve made a lot of progress over the last week getting vaccines and we definitely see that headed in the right direction.
