Valladay, a senior, was a consistent part of the Cowboys’ offense in all four of his seasons. He amounted to 3,281 yards and 19 touchdowns on the ground, plus 51 catches for 584 yards and two more touchdowns through the air.
Valladay had two 1,000-yard seasons for Wyoming, including last year when he rushed for 1,070 yards.
It’s an important addition for the Sun Devils, who have lost their two top running backs from last season.
Rachaad White declared for the NFL Draft and Chip Trayanum transferred to Ohio State. Those two combined for over 250 carries and 21 touchdowns in the ground game for 2021.
Valladay will certainly feature with sophomore Daniyel Ngata, who had some great moments in his first season and ended up with 309 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
