The Phoenix Suns on Tuesday announced the signing of free agent forward Justin Jackson to a 10-day contract.
The signing marks the second stint in the Valley this season for the 6-foot-8, 210-pound Jackson.
He appeared in three games for the Suns last month after signing a 10-day contract on Jan. 4.
In that span, Jackson scored 13 points and picked up six rebounds in 23 minutes played en route to two wins for Phoenix.
Jackson has spent one 10-day deal with the Boston Celtics in December and rejoined the G League’s Texas Legends after that contract ran its course.
Originally drafted No. 15 overall out of North Carolina in 2017, the 26-year-old has spent time with the Sacramento Kings, Dallas Mavericks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics.
He has played in 252 games (61 starts) in his five-year NBA career and averages 6.6 points and 2.5 rebounds per contest.
Jackson also appeared in five playoff games during the Bucks’ title run, the last of which came in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Suns have been missing a handful of key players recently, as guards Landry Shamet and Cam Payne have been ruled out for Tuesday night’s matchup against the Brooklyn Nets.
Meanwhile, Phoenix center Deandre Ayton and forward Jae Crowder have “a good chance” of returning, according to Arizona Sports‘ John Gambadoro.
The Suns host the Nets at 8 p.m. on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
