Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton is a man of multiple talents.

Not only is he one of the best big men in the NBA, but he’s also got an entire style and swag of his own.

The 23-year-old Bahamas-born Ayton sat down with GQ Sports to show off a side of him that we may not get to entirely see off the court.

Here are the Suns centers’ 10 life necessities:

242 Bahamas bling

Ayton’s high school friend Zo Frost has been an “ice machine” with how much bling he’s been able to make for the Suns big man.

“Representing my island, just telling everybody where I’m from,” Ayton said. “I’m not American. I’m from a little, tiny, tiny country in the Bahamas in the Caribbean.”

Ayton showed off his new baguette Cuban link, which will have a pendant made by the Suns center for his son.

“This is gonna be my son’s chain of a picture of him in the bathtub when he was younger,” he said.

Watches

Ayton showed two watches, one of which was rose gold and can go with any of his suits without taking away from his bling.

“It’s a different look, when you see a lot of ice around somebody’s neck and the wrists,” he said. “But when you see that and you see a plain, that boy got some class.”

But Ayton’s favorite watch — which he admittedly doesn’t wear all that often — is a red Richard Mille worth over $600,000.

Cars

Next on Ayton’s must-have list are his cars, which have to be spacious for the 7-footer and the fellas. He showed off his Rolls Royce and Lamborghini truck, which he calls the “double-R’s” and “Lamb truck,” respectively.

“A lot of people break their necks when I drive by, so it’s just like a yacht on the road for real,” he said.

PlayStation

Maybe the most important item on Ayton’s list is his PS5, which he literally brings on every road trip and has helped kept him whole.

“I didn’t have that many friends,” he explained. “This was my friend right here. All my friends, I met on this right here. This right here is my best friend.”

The Suns center spends most of his gaming time playing Fortnite and NBA 2K, the latter of which can get a little extra personal at times.

“I play as myself, so dudes really be trying to beat you, so what I try to do is put them kids in their place,” he said.

iPad

Suns fans will be delighted to hear that Ayton doesn’t just use his iPad to watch YouTube. In fact, the fourth-year pro uses it to get better at his craft.

“This really came in handy when I got to the Finals,” he explained. “Basketball. Basketball. Basketball. Playoffs got serious and really watching film to build that confidence going into games would really help.”

A book

No, not Suns guard Devin Booker.

Ayton always has a piece of literature on hand, although the center doesn’t necessarily use it in the way most would think.

“If you truly know me, I’ll always have a book on me,” he explained. “I just never read the book. I can go out and pick out a book and say, ‘Man this book look like it’s gonna be lit.’ But I never read the book.”

Ayton did, however, say he would start reading to his son once he was of age to understand.

The other half of Ayton’s 10 life necessities were cologne, chapstick, a candle and a Classfull hoodie, which is his friend A.J. McNish’s brand.

Booker actually turned Ayton on to bringing a candle on the road so that he could feel at home even when in a hotel room.
