Phoenix Suns enter Round 2 as substantial favorites vs. Mavericks

The Phoenix Suns enter the Round 2 matchup against the Dallas Mavericks as -275 favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

A $275 bet on Phoenix to win the series would reward a bettor $100.

The Suns defeated the New Orleans Pelicans and the Mavericks beat the Utah Jazz by a series score of 4-2 in the first round to set up the second round date.

Phoenix sits at 5.5-point favorites on Monday, with the over-under at 215 points. The Suns are -225 on the money line for Game 1.

FanDuel says the most likely outcome of the series is Phoenix winning in five games, at +280 odds.

The sportsbook currently gives Phoenix a 77% chance of making the Western Conference Finals and 28% chance to win the NBA Finals.

Dallas is 4-15 against the spread playing Phoenix in their last 19 games. The Suns are 9-1 straight up in the last 10 games against the Mavericks.

The under has hit in eight of the last 10 games between Dallas and Phoenix.

The Suns open round 2 at home against the Mavericks on Monday at 7 p.m. on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station.
