Phoenix Suns favored for pivotal Game 5 vs. Dallas Mavericks

Despite recent struggles in Dallas, the Phoenix Suns are considered favorites for their Game 5 matchup against the Mavericks on Tuesday.

FanDuel Sportsbook has Phoenix as 6.5-point favorites over Dallas at -110 odds and -270 on the money line as of Monday.

The Suns and Mavericks sit tied at 2-2 for the series following back-to-back losses for Phoenix in Dallas.

The Suns are 2-2 against the spread through four games, covering in the first two games at home. The Mavericks are 7-2 against the spread in their last nine games.

The point total is set at 213.5, but the under has hit eight of the last 12 times when Phoenix and Dallas have played. The under has also hit in five of the last seven games the Mavericks have played this postseason.

According to FanDuel, the Suns have a 74.1% chance to win the contest.

The sportsbook also gives Phoenix -235 odds to win the series.

The Suns have +330 odds to win the NBA Finals while Dallas sits at +1800. Only the Golden State Warriors better odds than Phoenix at +210.

Phoenix held the best odds in the league after Game 2 at +200, but have fallen off the favorite’s throne after the two losses in Dallas.
