Cardinals-Panthers injury report: WR A.J. Green out, Hollywood Brown questionable
A.J. Green will be out with a knee injury Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, while fellow Arizona Cardinals wide receivers Hollywood Brown (foot) and Rondale Moore (hamstring) are questionable.
It gives Moore the possibility of making his 2022 debut, as the speedy slot option has missed the first three games of the year.
Brown, though, was a Friday addition to the injury list. He missed practice Wednesday for rest but is listed with a foot issue after being limited in practice Friday.
Also questionable for Arizona are defensive lineman J.J. Watt (calf/illness), linebacker Zaven Collins (shoulder), center Rodney Hudson (knee) and kicker Matt Prater (hip).
Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey sat out practice with a thigh injury for the second day in a row Thursday but on Friday was upgraded to a limited participant, according to the team’s official injury report.
There is optimism he can play Sunday against the Cardinals and told reporters Friday he feels “great.”
Carolina also lists receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. as questionable with a hamstring issue. Defensively, end Marquis Haynes Jr. (knee) is questionable, as is cornerback Stanley Thomas-Oliver (Achilles).
