New Phoenix Coyotes owner shows team pride up in Canada

For the longest time, it seemed that if the Phoenix Coyotes moved from Arizona they would wind up somewhere in Canada.

That never materialized, as a group called IceArizona Co. was able to purchase the team with the expressed intent of keeping it in the Valley. After four years of wondering whether or not the team would stay put, it appears that’s exactly what’s going to happen.

The team’s new slogan is, “Here to Stay,” and it’s as catchy as it is exciting. George Gosbee, who is one of the team’s principal investors, is willing to show his team pride in the great white north.
