The Arizona Coyotes better be ready for their close-up, because they are going to be getting a lot of camera time before the season even starts.
Fox Sports Arizona will be airing a three-episode series called “Coyotes Camp: Building The Pack” that follows the team throughout the 2014 training camp. The 30-minute episodes will offer a behind-the-scenes look into all of the team facilities and how the organization prepares for a new season.
“We are thrilled to work with FOX Sports Arizona to provide our fans with an unprecedented behind-the-scenes look at our players and the inner workings of our organization,” said Arizona Coyotes Co-Owner, President and CEO Anthony LeBlanc. “We know our fans will enjoy this unique opportunity to get up close and personal with our team and get to know our players better.”
The program will follow the team from the start of Rookie Camp on Sept. 12 through the end of Veterans Camp on Oct. 3, featuring footage from all eight of the Coyotes’ preseason games.
FOX Sports Arizona Sr. Vice President & General Manager Brian Hogan is excited to offer a viewing experience that is brand new for the network and Coyotes fans.
“Working with the Arizona Coyotes on this first-ever type of show for FOX Sports Arizona will be the perfect way to start the season,” Hogan said. “We are grateful for the access and cooperation being granted to us by Anthony LeBlanc, Don Maloney and Dave Tippett and want to thank them for putting their trust in us. It’s our goal to showcase the team like never before and spotlight the hard work that goes into preparing for the NHL season.”
The series will start on Monday, Oct. 6 at 7:00 p.m. on Fox Sports Arizona, with the next two episodes airing on Tuesday, Oct. 7 and Wednesday, Oct. 8. All three episodes will be shown in succession immediately after the Coyotes home opener against the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday, Oct. 9.
