Running back James Conner got his hat-tip in a few different forms for his play that helped his Arizona Cardinals beat the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Conner was named the FedEx Ground Player of the Week for a two-touchdown, 105-yard performance in the 24-10 victory Sunday. For that,
Fans voted Conner’s game as the best among three total finalists, and a $2,000 donation will be made in the running back’s name to a Historically Black College and University.
A highlight of the performance put Conner among the top plays of the week on Good Morning Football’s “Angry Runs” segment. Host Kyle Brandt picked Conner’s toss of former Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson over physical runs from Titans tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo and Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco.

Arizona’s Week 13 win against Conner’s former Steelers team was his second 100-yard game of the season and only the third time he’s gone over the 15-carry mark in nine appearances.
For the season, the running back sits at 631 yards and four touchdowns.
