The Big 12 on Monday announced times and television assignments for the first week of the expanded conference’s league play, including Arizona State’s visit to Texas Tech.
ASU and Texas Tech face off at 12:30 p.m. MST and will air on FS1 on Saturday, Sept. 21.
The Sun Devils (2-0) will be coming off a Thursday meeting against Texas State, giving them a long week of preparation against the Red Raiders, who are 1-1 and facing North Texas this coming Saturday.
Texas Tech fell, 37-16, to Pac-12’s Washington State over the weekend.
As a whole, the Big 12 won’t be completely locked into conference play by Week 4, with a few schools playing smaller nonconference opponents.
Additionally, the Arizona Wildcats have an early bye week — their first of two for the 2024 season. The No. 20 Wildcats are 2-0 on the year and visit Big 12 opponent Kansas State this coming Friday, though it is not part of conference play.
