The helmets have a white base with a maroon and gold PT-42 logo on each side. It’s the same logo that apppears on the bottom of the team’s standard jersey necklines.
ASU will wear maroon jerseys and white pants to complement the helmets.
The Sun Devils have a long history of using their uniforms to honor Tillman, the former college linebacker who left the NFL to become an Army Ranger and lost his life in a friendly fire incident in 2004.
For one 2015 game, Adidas outfitted Arizona State with kits that had “Tillman” as every players’ nameplate for a Salute to Service game that replicated the 1996 Rose Bowl team’s uniforms.

In 2022, ASU wore similar PT-42 helmets to what it’ll don Saturday for a Maroon Monsoon game.
The Knights this week visit Tempe wearing an all-white uniform combination along with gold helmets.
