2026 women’s Final Four logo for Phoenix revealed by NCAA

Dec 9, 2024, 11:21 AM

The NCAA revealed the 2026 women’s Final Four logo for the host city of Phoenix on Monday.

Footprint Center, the home arena of the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury, will host the event in April 2026. Arizona State University is the hosting institution.

“Phoenix has consistently demonstrated its excellence as a host for numerous NCAA championship events,” NCAA vice president of women’s basketball Lynn Holzman said in a release. “The Division I Women’s Basketball Committee, along with the women’s basketball community and stakeholders, are excited to bring the Women’s Final Four to the Valley of the Sun for the first time.

“We are deeply grateful to the Phoenix Local Organizing Committee and Arizona State University for their commitment to women’s basketball and for supporting this next chapter of the Women’s Final Four.”

The Valley last hosted a men’s Final Four in 2024 and did so prior in 2017. Games were played at the home of the Arizona Cardinals, State Farm Stadium in Glendale.

“In April 2026, the eyes of the world will be on Arizona as we provide a spectacular stage for the Women’s Final Four,” Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs said in a release. “I wish to thank the NCAA for entrusting Arizona with the Women’s Final Four. Our community is united behind this event, and I’m confident the Valley will embrace it.

“When it comes to major sporting events, nobody does it better than Arizona.”

Section 127, a design studio from Indianapolis, created the 2026 Final Four logo.

It has a yellow, red and turquoise color palette, while the patterns are inspired by Native American culture and Southwest artwork. Arizona’s mountains in front of a multi-colored sunset supplement a basketball that radiates sun rays.

“We are honored to showcase this logo as we strive to deliver an unforgettable experience for everyone involved in the 2026 Women’s Final Four,” Phoenix Local Organizing Committee CEO Jay Parry said in the release.

“Arizona has long been a basketball mecca and a passionate supporter of women’s sports.”

Tampa Bay will host the 2025 NCAA Women’s Final Four.
