Tyson Chandler took only 10 shots Saturday night, but he made a major impact on the Phoenix Suns’ 98-95 win over the Atlanta Hawks with his 27 rebounds. That tied the franchise record set by Paul Silas in 1971.
Coming off a 20-rebound performance Thursday in the Suns’ 117-89 loss to the San Antonio Spurs, Chandler became the first Sun to have back-to-back 20-plus rebound games.
This is @tysonchandler 's second straight game with 20+ rebounds. According to @EliasSports he is the FIRST player in @Suns history to do so

Chandler still looks to be recovering from a hamstring injury that had him miss nine games in late November and early December. He started his Suns career with double-digit rebounds in five of his first six games.
His 13 offensive rebounds on Saturday also set a franchise record.

The Hawks elected to go small for much of the game, with starting center Tiago Splitter playing only 17 minutes in the game as opposed to Chandler’s 44.
The Suns won the game in miraculous fashion. Archie Goodwin hit a game-winning three-pointer with 0.1 seconds left. He finished with 24 points.
