Rashad Johnson: Arizona Cardinals’ defense finishes well but must play complete game

Finishing strong. It’s what the 2014 Arizona Cardinals do.
But in order to build upon the success they’ve experienced in their first five games of the season, safety Rashad Johnson said the defense must play a more complete game — something it didn’t do in the Cardinals’ 30-20 win Sunday over the Washington Redskins.
“We came out really, really flat in the first half. No disrespect to the Redskins, but we didn’t play very well at all,” Johnson told Doug and Wolf on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM Monday.
Aside from a setback at the hands of Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos, the Cards have outscored their opponents 43-7 in the fourth quarter this season en route to a 4-1 record.
