Arizona wearing road whites, Washington State striping out stadium for vintage Pac-12 matchup

Longtime Pac-12 fans will be treated to a renewal of a matchup they used to get almost every year, as Arizona is heading to Pullman to face Washington State on Saturday.

The Wildcats will rock their road white uniforms, while the Cougars will counter with red uniforms and their gray helmet with crimson script, a helmet they haven’t worn since the 2023 Apple Cup.

The Cougars will also stripe their stadium in crimson and gray, which should make for an exciting and vibrant environment.

The two teams shared the Pac-12 from 1978-2023, until Arizona joined the Big 12 in 2024. Washington State remains in the new-look Pac-12.

Arizona is 28-19 all-time against Washington State, but five of the last seven matchups have gone in the Cougars’ favor.

Arizona is 2-1 so far on the year, while Washington State is 1-2. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. MST at Martin Stadium.
