Arizona State football on Thursday revealed its uniform combination for a game at Mississippi State on Saturday, and it saw a familiar face return.

Many fans were thrilled by the primary logo Sparky being back on ASU’s core home helmets, but this week’s away game features the white helmet with the alternate Sparky logo.

Below the white helmets — which fittingly have white facemasks — the Sun Devils are going with gold pants and white jerseys that have a maroon-styled “Arizona State” across the chest.

Running back Kyson Brown, a Mississippi native, served as the model for the look on ASU’s social media pages.

The white and gold look will be in direct contrast with Mississippi State’s combination, as the Bulldogs are going with a blackout game for a rare night contest (just one home game last year started as late as this one will).

Catch Saturday’s matchup at 4:30 p.m. MST on the Arizona Sports app, ESPN 620 AM or 98.7 FM HD-2. It will be televised on ESPN2.

I enjoy reading about what uniform the team will wear. For me it’s part of the buildup to Gameday

Yawn . . . The biggest thing is winning a road game at an SEC school, not what the (bleep) they're wearing . . . They're going to look like Wyoming with those threads; yellow and white is not a good look.
