Kentucky’s John Calipari wears customized Devin Booker shoes

Kentucky head coach wore a customized pair of Devin Booker Air Force 1 Lows with the names of former Wildcats who were drafted from his program on them.

Kentucky basketball head coach John Calipari showed off his program in a unique way on Sunday at UK’s pro day.

He dawned a customized pair of Devin Booker Air Force 1 Lows made by True Blue Customs. The shoes were light blue and had the first names of all 38 former Kentucky Wildcats who were drafted in Calipari’s tenure printed in white.

Booker’s name was located near the back heel of the left shoe and former Phoenix Suns Tyler Ulis and Archie Goodwin were also included.

Kentucky’s NBA draft track record since Calipari was hired is remarkable. Franchise players like Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Davis and John Wall all came from his program.

As NBA scouts showed up to watch his current crop, he wore a reminder to them of how successful Kentucky is at developing pros.
