Arizona State uniforms turn on dark mode for Friday night lights vs. TCU
For Friday night lights against the No. 24 TCU Horned Frogs, the Arizona State Sun Devils will embrace the dark side by wearing black uniforms.

For Friday night lights against the No. 24 TCU Horned Frogs, the Arizona State Sun Devils will embrace the dark side by wearing all-black uniforms at Mountain America Stadium.

Arizona State will don black jerseys, pants and shoes with gold “Sun Devils” lettering across the chest and solid gold numbers.
The pitchfork will make its third appearance of the 2025 season on the helmet, this time the gold outline filled in with the surrounding black. ASU’s last home game in Week 3 against Texas State featured maroon and white pitchforks.
It hasn’t been since 2018 that the Sun Devils wore dark helmets for a blackout game.
The Sun Devils are 2-0 when sporting the pitchfork, earning wins over Northern Arizona and the aforementioned Texas State Bobcats.

The visiting Horned Frogs are ASU’s second Big 12 opponent on the schedule after a tight conference-opening win at Baylor. TCU defeated SMU 35-34 on Saturday and will open its Big 12 portion against ASU.
The Horned Frogs are wearing their all-white uniforms, complete with purple accents and numbering to pop against the all-black uniforms for Arizona State.
