For Cleveland sports teams, losing is a way of life. One fan has explained the reason for all that losing on a license plate.

Since the Browns won the NFL Championship (they had those before the Super Bowl was born, kids), Cleveland’s major-league sports franchises, collectively, have played a total of 147 seasons without celebrating a championship.

That’s 48 years for the Browns, 46 years for the Cavaliers, 51 years for the Indians — and yes, two seasons for the defunct Barons of the NHL.

That’s a really long time without winning anything.

Add in the fact that the city’s NFL franchise is widely considered the worst in the league, and the pain just gets more intense. The Browns are beloved in Cleveland, but have been unable to requite that love since the 1964.

Twitter user @TednAkron, a big Cleveland sports fan, tweeted a picture of a license plate that succinctly describes how Browns fans feel.

That must be it, right?

Cleveland fans, take solace in a couple of things.

First, the Cavaliers are leading the Eastern Conference standings again, and second, Johnny Manziel is no longer in the running to be the Browns’ franchise savior.
