Diana Taurasi docuseries to premiere in August

The historic career of Diana Taurasi will be immortalized in a three-part docuseries premiering on Prime Video on August 7, according to a new release.

An official trailer and art for the show, Taurasi, was released on Thursday.

It highlights the biggest moments of her career from her time at UConn, with Team USA in the Olympics and, of course, the Phoenix Mercury.

Taurasi was a three-time NCAA champion and won three WNBA titles with the Mercury.

Her six Olympic gold medals are a record for Olympians in the sport of basketball.

The show emphasizes her fierce competitiveness and her experiences playing abroad in Russia and Turkey.

It features interviews with Taurasi, her relatives, teammates, coaches and opponents.

The announcement comes on the heels of Taurasi winning the Icon Award at the 2025 ESPYs.

She was honored alongside retired U.S. national women’s soccer team star Alex Morgan.
